Player Postion Logging

Postby ronsatter » Sat Feb 07, 2009 1:37 pm

Is it really necessary to show log entries for every player position update, which happens every second? The plugin must be buffering this data somewhere. Even without writing the data to a log file, it still builds up in the plugin log window. See Fig 1.

I often have large playlists with 500 to 1000 songs which run constantly in the background and when I occasionally attempt to clear the data, it takes several seconds. Is this data buffering necessary?

Is it possible to make the player position data completely transparent?

Ron - Good point - maybe add the ability to select your logging level like in MLS.
Thanks!
