sending command to turn on receiver

Postby Mudslide03 » Mon Jan 26, 2009 11:36 am

I would like to turn on my receiver and set inputs when I hit the ITunes button.

Here is my old command that I used.
MLServeCmd.MLGC100|SendIR~benq~Poweroff:Delay~2:SendIR~marantz~poweron:Delay~2:SendIR~marantz~cd

How would I combine that with this new command?
Macro|MLCmd|MLCommand~{{clientname}}~setProperty|RemoteFX2~x~0!MLCmd|MLCommand~{{clientname}}~setProperty|RemoteFX2~y~0

Thanks!!

Just add an ! point to the end of the first macro and paste the MLGC100 command:

Macro|MLCmd|MLCommand~{{clientname}}~setProperty|RemoteFX2~x~0!MLCmd|MLCommand~{{clientname}}~setProperty|RemoteFX2~y~0!
MLGC100|SendIR~benq~Poweroff:Delay~2:SendIR~marantz~poweron:Delay~2:SendIR~marantz~cd

However, the command above can also be shorted due to some modifications to our MLCmd syntax.
Macro|MLCmd|{{clientname}}~setProperty|RemoteFX2~x~0!MLCmd|{{clientname}}~setProperty|RemoteFX2~y~0!
MLGC100|SendIR~benq~Poweroff:Delay~2:SendIR~marantz~poweron:Delay~2:SendIR~marantz~cd

Watch for line breaks when copying these commands to your system.

What model Marantz are you using? I noticed your using IR to control it. The Marantz reciever RS-232 plugin works great, plus it has feedback for almost everything. The only thing i haven't figured out on it is direct volume and tuner inputs but Dave is working on that.

SR7000. I have always done everything through IR. Never looked at the RS232 side.
