error 2147310779 (8002801d)

Postby dr.frazier » Sun Jul 13, 2008 4:10 pm

Had previous problem with no help so reinstalled itunes and mlitunes service with just 10 songs. Now when I run mlitunes service i get above run time error with following comment.

Automation error
Library not registered.

Very frustrating. Have not had this functional but one out of ten days maybe. Crashes with any change made in itunes or added songs.

Do you have a license in the Music server plugin? Required, even for beta. Request one at davep at cinemaronline dot com

Back to error 91 codes. It appears somehow my database is out of sync but I cant for the life of me reset it. I have enclosed the mdb file and the log file of what happens when I verify and then rebuild database. Verify works fine but rebuild ends with 91 error on last song. It appears that the database is skipping 1 as index and starting with 2. When it gets to the end it sees one entry less than it expects and then crashes every time. If i delete last song it crashes on the one before.

Please help. This has taken way too much time.

The plugin says 18 days on trial. The server agent is on another machine. Where do I register it? I have not in the past.

Just send a request via the licansing routine inside of MLS for a registration. Dave P will send you a time extension for the beta. There is no perm. license available yet. I have extended mine several times.
Thanks!

dr.frazier,

The database has been updated from time to time during the beta period. it is critical that you opt to overwrite your database during the initial install. Have you done this?

I have uninstalled and overwritten the database so many times its not even funny. If I uninstall and completely remove both the plugin and service that should be enough should it not?

Also erase the database that is under the MLS directory, drivers section.

Is your iTunes load rock solid with well established play lists and parameters? Does it produce any errors? Does it stay in synch when you rip a new CD or DL some tunes?
Thanks!
