MLItunes Service runtime error 5

Postby couj » Sat Jun 07, 2008 8:32 am

After expanding my itunes library, I tried running MLItunes Services again and I keep getting runtime error 5. It seems to freeze when adding track "G??????". I don't have a track with this name in my library. Ive tried deleing various tracks (including ones that use foreign characters - mainly Japanese) but so far no luck. Wouldn't it be better if the MLItunes Service simply asked you to ignore a track it couldn't load rather than freeze and not let you go any further. Any idea how I can track down which track this is so that I can progress?

Ok - I figured it out. It was a stray song that had some Japanese characters in the name. It is a shame that I have to remove these songs from my library to use the itunes interface. Maybe this can be fixed down the track
