FYI - SlySoft player in the works!

Postby Texsun » Sun Mar 22, 2009 3:43 pm

This could be a bit of good news as the software BD players currently available have "issues" of one sort or another. This could also be a good time for Cinemar to get their 2 cents in anticipation of a plug-in....hint, hint

Ok so the latest on this is "Feb" but who knows weather its 2010 or 2021. Any way i think it should be known that this, in my book, should be a priority as soon as it is available that a plugin be made. This should come before food, sleep, everything! Otherwise im comin to Wisconsin, or Michigan, or wherever Dave lives and im picketing outside his house. Whos comin with me? =D>

I'm pretty sure Dave lives in an underground bunker somewhere in Bosnia.

Believe me 3 nanoseconds after Slysoft releases their player I'll be working on the plugin. I've been waiting for this since 2007 when they first announced they were going to roll their own player.

No ... just a bare table with an iPhone. Dave doesn't require a lot of frills.

I am not sure what your definition is of a 'real player' is, but I believe that ArcSoft TMT3 does bitstream audio on ATI 5xxx and Intel Clarkdale processors. Check out the new new .170 patch.

T.Wells, I believe what mnkynefite meant by "real player" , if i am understanding him correctly, and if he is feeling the same way i am is, a player that actually works....ALL THE TIME! and without constant headaches. in other words a player that doesnt suck!

Gotcha. I am new to the software player game so I am still learning. While TMT3 is working well for me, at this point, my experience is very limited.

Thanks!
