Zoomplayer on second monitor

Postby stjoh » Sun Nov 25, 2007 12:12 am

I'm trying to setup player to playback ripped movies on my second monitor. It opens fine but once it tries to start playback it crashes. If I start playback on the first monitor and then moves it to the second monitor it works fine. If I then stop playback and try to restart it crashes too.

I've tried the different renderers (VMR7, VMR9...).

Has anybody seen this before? Is there a better application out there that'll also handle BR and HD-DVD? Looking to get the LG combind player.

Make sure the path to the movie is correct from the perspective of the player.

No, no good HD DVD software player out there that supports 2 way interface like zoom or theatertek.

The path is fine. It starts fine if I start it on the first monitor (/f:1). It's only when I start playback on the second monitor that it crashes.

I guess I'm stuck with PowerDVD for HD for now then.

You are using ZoomPlayer to play an HD movie?

That must be using some of the "hacks" posted on Zoom's forum?

My understanding is that none of the "hacks" are very reliable / work well. What you found might be just one of those issues.

Doesn't sound like a MainLobby issue. You should post on Zoom's forum to see if others using similar setup have found same.

No, I'm not trying to play HD material just a regular DVD.
