Combined commands and macro calls

Postby DaveB » Mon Apr 07, 2008 7:03 pm

Tracy;

I am attempting to implement MLMenu into the Lodge interface. Within that structure, I am also trying to further implement a rather complicated layer structure for lighting control. I am attempting to get away from the standard floor plan interface, as my family can still not figure out which room is which. Anyway;

MLServeCmd.Macro|MLCmd|ChangeScene~{{clientname}}~0026_Lighting_outside.mls!MLCmd|{{clientname}}~unloadLayer|4

This is the command I need to do when pressing any button from my lighting scene. (obviously the scene shortcut changes per button). The key is I must unload the layer when moving to a different scene.

If I hard code the layer unload to a button along with the standard MLMenu call, it works fine, but I need to make this dynamic. If I always unload layer 4, it will make a mess someplace along the line.

Ideas??
Thanks!

Fixed it - the path to the scene was mis-spelled... :oops:

Works great!! we now have the ability to dynamically control scenes with layers when MLMenu is implemented!
Thanks!
