Just wondering how many people are actually using it...

I've yet to play with the actual BTV commands. I've been using it to keep TVlobbys data filled only so far. :oops:

I did play a little a while ago but did not see how to use the plugin to schedule a recording. I saw how to see what was already recorded, and now that I have MLClientSvr plugin will setup the BTV Link to play on my remote pc. Just haven't had the time to really beat on it., but its on my list for this weekend. :)

I also use it to keep the TVlobby data going. I have the tuner card but I haven't had to time to do anything with it.

There are a few ways to do that...

1 - From the TV Guide scene, when a program is selected, you can use the BTV's icons to schedule a record once (1), record new episodes (N) or record all episodes (A). (you could probably easily do that through your own TVLobby scene)

2 - From the various search results, you can create recording jobs.

3 - Many of the sub-menus (overlay) allow to create new recording jobs.

Thanks! I'll give it a try tonight.

Found them, I hadn't updated the scenes in awhile. :oops:

I did run into a bug. I noticted that my TVLobby db had not been updated so I went in and found I had unchecked the auto update at some point. I checked this and then also checked the override BTV's updates. ( See first picture ) The update frequency was set at fixed time 1:30, I clicked the Fixed interval and using the dropdown selected 12 hours. I then recieved a Unhandled exception dialog box. ( See the 2nd pic ) . I clicked continue and all seems to be ok, for now I unchecked the override box.

MLS 3.0.492
MLBTV 3.1.5

The Details from the dialog box are below:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Got the same error on mine, so should be easy to track down...

That does make it easier when you can duplicate it. :D

Thanks for looking at it.

Ok, it is fixed in 3.1.6. You might need to delete the references to GuideUpdate in the MLBeyondTV.xml file (MLServer folder), especially the -1, or the plugin won't load...

very happy with the plugin, its integration as a pvr for the household, and its fit with ML, and MLTVLobby.

THX for making this available and for the excellent design and programming that make it possible!
