MLCalendar Type Mismatch errors...not working

Postby mnkynifefite » Thu Feb 05, 2009 7:41 pm

Finally getting around to implementing MLCalendar and I'm having some problems. Namely, when I add an event on from the client it does not show up on the client calendar. Yet if I go to the actual Outlook calendar I can see the event.

The MLCalendar log file is "clean" but here is the log file from the Outlook Addin:

(When I first open Outlook)
Error 13 - (Type mismatch)@line 390 in procedure RegLoad of SharedCode
Error 13 - (Type mismatch)@line 400 in procedure RegLoad of SharedCode
Calendar Name - Dad
Startup is complete

(When I add an event from the client)
Error 13 - (Type mismatch)@line 20 in procedure CopyCalendartoXML of SharedCode
Error 13 - (Type mismatch)@line 30 in procedure CopyCalendartoXML of SharedCode
Error 13 - (Type mismatch)@line 50 in procedure CopyCalendartoXML of SharedCode
Error 13 - (Type mismatch)@line 60 in procedure CopyCalendartoXML of SharedCode
Complete XML processing
Calendar Updated - (2/5/2009 4:30:43 PM)
Next update scheduled for -19337 hours
Outlook Calendar Exported to database - (2/5/2009 4:30:43 PM)
Event added to Calendar
Event added
Error 13 - (Type mismatch)@line 20 in procedure CopyCalendartoXML of SharedCode
Error 13 - (Type mismatch)@line 30 in procedure CopyCalendartoXML of SharedCode
Error 13 - (Type mismatch)@line 50 in procedure CopyCalendartoXML of SharedCode
Error 13 - (Type mismatch)@line 60 in procedure CopyCalendartoXML of SharedCode
Complete XML processing
Calendar Updated - (2/5/2009 4:30:58 PM)
Next update scheduled for -19313 hours
Outlook Calendar Exported to database - (2/5/2009 4:30:58 PM)

I am running the latest MLCalendar (3.0.253), MLServer (3.0.588), and Outlook Addin (3.0.95). Also I am running Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0 Service Pack 1.

Please help.

I'm getting concerned over the silence. Is there no support for this plugin?

Dave is the master of this code and has been occupied with the next generation of MusicLobby. Unfortunately this will have to take a backseat for now.

Sorry, You need to upgrade to Microsoft XML 6 SP1. This should fix the errors you are seeing.

Dave,

I've been patient in waiting to have this fixed (since Feb) since you were so busy with the new MusicLobby, but I need my calendar working now. I am already running MSXML 6 SP1 but I'm still getting the following errors.

I had the same problem yesterday (I had mistakenly uninstalled MSXML). Ik used the link from the WIKI to download the MSXML package and all is working again. It is not the SP1 version so maybe you can try that:

Thanks for trying to help Droezel, but therein lies the issue, I've tried everything, even uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook 2007, the plugin, MLCalendar, MSXML, etc., whcih is why I really need Cinemar's help.

I'm getting pretty disappointed in their lack of response to this issue...come on guys, give me some kind of response. Please.

The issue is DaveP has a ton on his plate. He is taking on support of all of these apps and plugins and there isn't enough of him to go around. It's not about not wanting to or not being able to, other than time.

While I completely understand that there are only so many hours in a day, and only one of him, I feel I have been more than patient at getting this resolved. Some sort of status report would be nice, even if it meant Cinemar saying "we can get to it in two weeks"...at least that would be something. If you look at the date of my original post it goes back to Feb, so I have been patient for 8 months. I am a reasonable and patient man, but it's the silence and lack of communication that is quite upsetting.

Send me a copy of the XML file that this is trying to import.

What version of the MLOutlook Addin dll file are you using? If I recall, lots of people have problems with the current version. I use version 3.0.0.93 and have no issues with calendar, email. If you would like to try it, PM me with an email address.
