MLEmail Commands

Postby ronsatter » Fri Sep 26, 2008 12:03 pm

Can view emails received in Outlook 2007 in ML ... great! Filter read from unread ... great! Send commands via email ... terrific!

But can't figure out how to clear the variables/update database by a command ... similar to MLCALENDAR "Update Events". I see that it is possible to use the plugin window command "CLEAR TABLE" to refresh/remove scene data, but is there a way to achieve this through a server command or script? Also would like to see the ability to "DELETE" emails from Outlook via ML.

By the way, the wiki for this plugin is practically useless. No variables listed. No commands listed. Update time?

As with MLCalendar, I feel that this plugin has lots of potential, but needs more work to make it truly useful. How about taking a couple of weeks off from iPod/iTouch interface development and button this one up for us. :D

Code: Select all

MLEMail|DELETE_READ_EMAILS

MLEmail|CLEAR_TABLE

Should be the commands that your looking for. Currently these don't remove the emails from Outlook. I will look at adding that feature next time I open up the plugin.

Thanks Tracy :D

Also, is there a command to mark the viewed email as "Read" without checking the "Read" checkbox in the plugin table?

Code: Select all

MLEmail|TOGGLE_ISREAD

I can add a function to mark as read or unread when I open the code up again.

Thanks again, Tracy. I'll experiment with the new code. :D
