Cinemar Documentation Wiki

Postby DavidL » Fri May 25, 2007 12:00 pm

Cinemar now has a Documentation Wiki that can be updated by the MainLobby user community and it's dealers.

http://www.cinemaronlineforums.com/wiki

This is place to find the most updated documentation for Cinemar software and hardware products.

Please post in this thread any issues you have with the Documentation Wiki.

Is there any way to include a true search function (beyond the one line search feature) into the wiki? With only a table of contents and no index, its value is severely diminished as a replacement for documentation.

"severly diminshed"?
Much better than any of the prior documentation methods IMHO

EDIT:
Mario found a means to put Google search on our Documentation Wiki. We have already implemented it.

At the top of the Main Page, click on Advanced Search.

Wysocki, thanx for spurring Mario on!

Wysocki,

Dave just added an Advanced Search function that you may like better...it uses Google as the search engine:
http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q ... as_qdr=all

It's also a link at the top of the wiki home page.

And, if you go to this link, you can search Cinemar's Forum too:

http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q ... as_qdr=all

Nice find!
