Multiple Portfolio support?

Postby geodementia » Sun Jan 18, 2009 8:19 pm

If any further work is done to MLStockInfo, would it be possible to add support for multiple stock portfolios?

i.e. I have stocks, but so do other members in my family.
It would be nice to be able to simply pull up the details for {{user_1}} and then change to a different user.

I tried to implement something by setting the number of stocks owned to 1 and then using MLMath to multiply the current price by the numebr of stocks held by each person, but it really got way too complicated to manage effectively - plus I lost the ability to use the security feature of this plugin.

Anyone else doing something like this and might have some ideas on how to do it better ??
