7th Post

Smooth,

x64 is indicated two times in this thread. They are on the 7th and 8th posts in the thread.

So what are my options at this point? No USBIR may in-fact ruin my MainLobby experience as I'll have no control over my AVR and more importanly cable boxes.

Thanks,
T.Wells

Sorry, didn't catch that

In the Wiki, it is noted that 64 bit OS are not supported. I also added this notation to the Wiki Plugin install doc.

Today I went out and bought a the 32-bit flavor of Vista. Installed the OS and then installed the IR6.

It appears to have installed without a problem (i.e. drivers installed).

Now, I just need to re-install ML, MLS and the rest of my goodies. I'll also have to re-configure my RAID array (if possible).

Smooth, since I changed OS, will I have a license problem? Will they need to be re-set?

Thanks,
T.Wells

should not need a license change. Try your old license and activation code.

T.Wells,
If you still have a X64 OS up and running, we may have something for you to test. I can't test the change as I don't have X64 installed here.

Sorry if this is too late if you blew away your X64.

Sorry, it's gone

Smooth,

Sorry, I lost the x64 drive(s) this morning. I formatted and installed the 32 bit flavor of Vista Ultimate.

I will say that ML worked fine with x64 with the only exception being the IR6. I had the following installed and working without problem.
- ML and MLS
- WeatherLobby
- DVDLobby
- Insteon PLC
- 777ES

I now have a problem with WeatherLobby and just posted over in that forum.

Once I get WL going, I'll be off to get a VideoStorm CRM84 and plug-in ... hint ... hint ...

I have the license to x64 still and will build a new machine with that OS. I'll be happy to test sometime in the future.

Kind regards,
T.Wells
