Hi Tracy,

Would you take a look at the attached image? I'm using MLGD to control the Xantech MRC which worked well until to night - firmware upgrade. Tried the obvious, firmware downgrade but no luck.

Anyway, I can't seem to get MLGD to recognize the response from the MRC. The Command Terminator is set to 0 as always. Can you tell from the image below why MLGD can't see what the Xantech is saying? Top image is MLGD Events. Bottom image is a port monitor.

Thanks,
Rick

Rick:
It looks like the upgrade may have changed the response string. Without knowing how it responded previously it is hard to tell. You may want to try 13 instead of 0 and see if that helps.

Sorry I cant be more help.

Tracy

Thanks Tracy,

Can you tell me how to interpret the 7(7) and 9(9), etc from the debugger?

that is just the number of characters in the string. I cant remember why the (#). I will go back and look at the code tonight.

Hi Tracy,

For some reason I had to go with 13 in the device setup and 0 in the command setup. Seems to work a bit better.

Strange that it would change like that even with the original firmware installed. No need to do anything else.

Thanks,
Rick
