Phone Dialer Question

MLNetCallerID supports the NetCallerID hardware and sends CallerID data to MLCallerID plugin. MLCallerID3 uses a database to store your call data. MLPhoneBook is a MainLobby view to your Outlook contacts list. MLPhoneDialer allows for dialing of a phone number for you.

Phone Dialer Question

Postby sonypoolplr » Wed Aug 27, 2008 8:20 pm

I just came across the phone dialer plugin and I was wondering if anyone is using it. Also, if so, can it be used to dial the numbers needed for call forwarding (*72 xxx-xxx-xxxx and *73)?

Thanks

No one using it? Or it doesn't work?

I guess it will try it and find out.

Something I really wanted to try but I downloaded and installed it a long time before it was published. Ended up with an empty shell for a plugin but it set the trial timer so once it really was there I could no longer activate it.

Would love to hear your thoughts once you have it running. Telephone stuff is so tempermental based on the equipment it runs on so I didn't want to buy it until I tried it. I'm surprised this hasn't been a big seller. Appreciate your comments once you run it.

Thanks,
Rick

Loaded the plugin. Don't know if it is supposed to find the modem on its own, but it didn't. Had to tell it the com port. Set a quick event for it: MLPhoneDialer|Dial~*72 1609xxxxxxx

The event log says the BETA version has expired. I just installed it last night. According to MLServer I have 29 days left. What's up? Has this lugin been dropped when Outlooks phone book plugin came to be?

There will be another version out shortly. Stay tuned to MLInstaller or this forum thread.
