MLCallerID Startup

MLNetCallerID supports the NetCallerID hardware and sends CallerID data to MLCallerID plugin. MLCallerID3 uses a database to store your call data. MLPhoneBook is a MainLobby view to your Outlook contacts list. MLPhoneDialer allows for dialing of a phone number for you.

MLCallerID Startup

Postby jjjukebox » Mon Dec 03, 2007 12:34 pm

Since updating from the old CallerID I am experiencing a 30-45 second pause in MLServer startup when the MLCallerID plugin is starting. This happens whether I select a com port for the modem or the NetCaller.

MLServer 3.0.373
MLCallerID 3.0.225
XP Pro

What in MLCallerID would cause this pause/hang?

Thanx

Perhaps your call log has grown...try clearing your call log.

I opened the call log (CallerIDv3) in Access and there are only 20 calls as per my settings

Deleted MLCallerIDv3 database, unregistered MLCallerID plugin, removed MLCallerID plugin and re-installed MLCallerID 3.0.225.

When MLServer restarted it did not pause at all. Once I imported call log and aliases from copy of old database it paused again on MLServer start-up but not as badly as before.

Only have 14 calls in call log and 27 aliases.

Could it got a little better because the indexes in MLCallerIDv3.mdb were re-written starting at 1 again?

Any thoughts?
