MLPhoneDialer Plugin

Postby DavidL » Sat Jan 06, 2007 9:23 am

Cinemar will be soon beta testing a new MLPhoneDialer plugin that will allow you to make telephone calls from MainLobby. Works initially with a PC modem that is connected to your phone line.

Allows you to get your phone company held voice mail.
Will allow call backs to MLCallerID callers

Works with traditional phone companys now. We might add Vonage (which I personally use) and maybe Skype if there is enough interest.

Anyone interested in beta testing?
Probably a few days away.

If there is anyway to use the modem that is already pegged for MLCallerID that would be great as we wouldn't have to put another modeom on the system!

Looking forward to this plugin - would be great as well if it could tie into Outlook Contacts

Just trying to figure it out...

Hi Smooth,

Would love to beta. Currently have multi-lines with telco (but don't use telco voice mail) and adding Vonnage next week.

Would love to see this plugin eventually evolve into voice messaging as well.

All 9% of the "other" users as of now (1 of 11) are using ViaTalk VOIP service as I do! Hopefully this would not be too much different than Vonage.

Any standard SIP VOIP provider would be fine for me :-)

Not sure if you thought of this, or if this is how it works but having it integrate with outlook's pst contacts or something would be great.

Anyone?

Another vote for Vonage and Skype.

:D

I'm using this little util to listen to Vonage vm but would prefer to have everything integrated into ML:
